Análisis de susceptibilidad in vitro de Giardia duodenalis a diferentes agentes quimioterapéuticos. Identificación de los mecanismos involucrados en la resistencia a drogas en Giardia duodenalis.  Análisis de la fase inductiva del enquistamiento en Giardia duodenalis. Análisis de la respuesta inmune intestinal hacia Trichinella spiralis en animales de experimentación. Desarrollo de estrategias vacunales para Triquinelosis empleando antígenos estadio específicos de Trichinella spiralis clonados en vectores atenuados vivos y utilizados en forma conjunta con adyuvantes bacterianos.
